A five-bedroom home on Longboat Key has sold for $10.8 million.

The sale of the nearly 7,000-square-foot home at 80 Lighthouse Point Drive was recorded July 10.

Court records show the home was sold by Charles and Mary Kubicki of Cincinnati, Ohio, to Rajesh and Indo Soin of Dayton, Ohio.

Charles Kubicki is founder and owner of Cincinnati United Contractors Inc. a premier design/build commercial contractor.

Rajesh Soin is an entrepreneur and owner of Soin Inc., a private multinational holding company.

Reid Murphy with Developers Realty LBK represented the seller, and Ryan Ackerman of The Ackerman Group represented the buyer.

Ackerman said the sale shows the strength of the local market. “We don’t have an off-season any more,” he said, adding that the sale is also indicative of the growth of Sarasota and Longboat Key.

Murphy said the house was not on the market long and that the sale price was not surprising. "That house demanded that price," Murphy said, because of its location and views of the water.

According to several listings of the property, the home includes an office and theater room, with large windows facing New Pass and Gulf, marble floors and an infinity edge pool overlooking the water and a private beach.
