Three arrests made after Tuesday morning Sarasota shooting

Three arrests, including those of two juveniles, have been made by the Sarasota Police Department in response to an early Tuesday morning shooting that left one unidentified juvenile with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 5 a.m. in the 1800 block of 29th Street where a juvenile suffered gunshot wounds, according to the SPD. The subsequent investigation led to three arrests on Tuesday.

The 14-year-old is charged with attempted murder with a firearm, a felony in Florida. 

The 15-year-old is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Fatima Williams, 36, is charged with child neglect, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
