Pop-up food bank scheduled for Sunday

All Faiths Food Bank and the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee have organized a pop-up hurricane relief food distribution to take place on the Jewish Federation campus at 580 McIntosh Road from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20. 

Residents in need of food are invited to receive a variety of groceries including bottled water, meats, produce and non-perishable items. Additionally, the Jewish Federation will distribute Amazon gift cards on a first-come, first-served basis.

"We want area families struggling in the wake of the storms to know that we are here for them," said All Faiths Food Bank President and CEO Nelle Miller in a news release. "We are proud to stand with the Jewish Federation to help community members in need while they work tirelessly to get back on their feet and return their lives to normalcy."
