Jeffrey McCurdy elected to Barancik Foundation board

A Sarasota financial advisor has been elected to the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation Board of Directors. Jeffrey McCurdy, who has served on Barancik Foundation’s Investment Committee since 2020, is an independent private investment advisor with broad experience in all aspects of wealth management.  

McCurdy is the founding principal of Guardsman Private Capital Management, a boutique SEC-registered investment advisory firm in Sarasota focused on the needs of high-net worth families and nonprofits.

In addition to his work with the Barancik Foundation, McCurdy serves on the investment committees of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation.

With McCurdy, the Barancik Foundation Board of Directors includes Rebecca Harris Barancik (chair), Steve Barancik, Hosana Fieber (vice chair), Mike Gronli, Ben Hanan, Deb Hanson, Lisa Hise, Stephanie Jones, Laura Kingsley, Wendy Roseth and Teri A Hansen.
