Savor Sarasota restaurants extend fixed-price menus

There is still time to sample the area’s flavors — all summer, in some cases — as a selection of restaurants extend their Savor Sarasota fixed-price offerings beyond the original 20 days in June.

Sponsored by the Sarasota County tourism bureau, Savor Sarasota is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Originally started as a weeklong event in 2005 to boost restaurant attendance after season ended and the snowbirds went home, Savor Sarasota expanded to two weeks in 2020, to help give eateries a lift after COVID-19 shutdowns earlier that year.

The 2025 edition expanded to 20 days to connect with its 20th anniversary.

The idea is patrons can select from the restaurant’s special menus and pay $25 for lunch specials and $45 for dinner specials.
