Cat Depot Kids Critter Camp

Details: Students will explore the roles of an athletic trainer and orthopedic surgeon and learn how to diagnose and treat common sports injuries such as sprains, strains, and athlete’s foot. These future healthcare professionals will explore the famous Tommy John (arm & elbow) surgery and make models of a hand, joint, and tendon.

Counselor-in-Training Program

Details: This program provides an opportunity for upper school students to develop job skills and earn volunteer hours. Counselors in Training (CITs) will assist our counselors with day-to-day camp activities at Thunder Sports Camp. This might include set-up and break-down of sports games, assisting head counselors with sports games with children and helping at pick-up and dismissal. CITs must commit to the entire week and uphold expectations of professionalism to participate.

Campers will enjoy free indoor and outdoor play, hands-on learning opportunities, arts and crafts, music and movement, cooking, science projects, special guests, water days and fun camp-style surprises.
