Details: Practices and drills are designed for children who want to refine their freestyle and backstroke. Children must be able to swim 25 yards modified arm-over-arm, both on front and back with proper breath exchange. An assessment will be made on the first day of practice to determine if a swimmer is qualified.

Details: If you love water, consider joining the Sarasota Tsunami Swim Team. Team members work on swimming techniques and train to race in local meets to introduce swimmers to competition swimming. All swim skills welcome.

Details: Campers learn to sail on Sarasota Bay. Sarasota Youth Sailing offers Tadpoles Camp on the Maine Cat Catamaran (ages 5-6), Optimist levels 1 and 2 (Ages 7-12), O'Pen Skiff (Ages 9-16), Adventure Sailing Camp on the Hobie Waves (Ages 9-14) and 420 Basics and Beyond (Ages 13-18).
