In honor of national dairy month, families gathered June 7, at Dakin Dairy Farms, to enjoy live music and games, and to snack on grilled cheese sandwiches and sip on cold milk. Proceeds from the 50/50 raffle benefited Harvest House Transitional Centers.

Kiddie Academy celebrates grads

Thirty-four Kiddie Academy of Lakewood Ranch voluntary prekindergarten students officially moved up a grade during a graduation ceremony June 4, at the Holiday Inn Sarasota-Lakewood Ranch. Teachers each chose two of their students to read a "Pete the Cat" book while the other students performed a skit for the audience.
